SOLOK, KOMPAS.com -Board Company Union Center real estate Indonesia (REI DPP) inaugurated the 100,000 housing units with prosperous tread (RST) in Arosuka Regency Nuances Griya Realty Solok, West Sumatra, on Wednesday (13/3/2013).
This is the inauguration of 100,000 units by the fourth member of the developer RST REI after in Semarang in 2007, Jonggol in West Java in 2008, as well as in Lamongan, East Java in 2010.
The Chairman of the DPP REI, Setyo Maharso, mentions, 70 percent of about 2,500 members of REI is developers who build low-income communities for RST (MBR) all over Indonesia. The construction of this community is aimed at RST intermediate bottom with a minimum price of Usd 88 million per unit.
"Prices here (Solok) Rp 75 million per unit," said DPP Chairman Setyo Maharso in opening the inauguration reception in Solok.
Setyo hope, synergy with Government developers REI (Ministry of Housing) and other agencies should be strengthened to provide housing MBR. The Government, both the Center and the regions, should also have a commitment to continue to build public housing, especially for the lower middle class.
"Until 2012 developers already building REI 73.000 RST for MBR throughout Indonesia," said Setyo.
Meanwhile, according to the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the inauguration of 100 thousand units RST DPP REI, Bally S, the reason for choosing West Sumatra was to spur the desire among developers build projects outside Java.
"Because of the need of housing outside Java are also quite big," said Bally.
