Kemenpera-articulated HWK mothers Waking self help Home

The Ministry of Housing (Kemenpera) Works with the women's Association (HWK) to build homes for low-income NGOs (MBR) in a number of provinces in Indonesia. Djan Faridz Housing Minister says, it will help to get the HWK special education related to credit home.

"So, mothers who are members of HWK could work together with the local Government to help communities in order to have a livable home, began to help home how to obtain credit from the bank, bought the land for the MBR, as well as subsidies for infrastructure facilities, facilities and utilities such as road development environment and waterways," he said in Jakarta, Friday (22/2/2013).

The purpose of a mutual agreement, the Menpera, is the realization of further coordination for increased welfare for members of HWK in fulfillment of livable housing needs at affordable prices. As for the scope of the mutual agreement includes firstly, improved quality, facilitation of home construction, general public flats including cheap house or self-help housing with the support of the liquidity of housing Financing Facility (FLPP) via credit/financing home ownership to members of HWK.

Menpera continued, the agreement was also to facilitate the provision of Infrastructure, facilities and Utilities (PSU), facilitating public third pre and post certification of land rights for the empowerment of members of HWK, mobilization of funds for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL), Amil Zakat Infaq and Shadaqoh (BAZIS) or similar institutions. In addition, regarding the income target group of women entrepreneurs in particular the level of effort of SMALL MEDIUM ENTERPRISES and sixth, provision of land for the construction of public housing, including public housing flats cheap or self-help homes.

Chairman of the HWK Nugraha Besoes said Maryamah, HWK have prepared data as well as land in the three provinces, namely Gorontalo, Blora in Central Java and Jakarta to build 500 homes each to the MBR. The Data is scheduled to be submitted to the deputies of The Self-help Housing at the latest in March. To handle this cooperation project, the DPP is pointing one of HWK Chairman of the DPP, which became the Coordinator for implementation of Hana Fadel facilitation program.
